The legislation to preserve Montana’s Medicaid program has been signed into law by Gov. Greg Gianforte after being passed in by the 69th Montana State Legislature

This support means 80,000 people across the state will continue to have access to the care they need when they need it. Additionally, this maintains vital funding to keep rural and critical access hospitals open and able to serve their communities. It keeps people healthier and showing up to work and supports vital care for substance use and mental health disorders for those who need it most.

Thank you to the following lawmakers for their support of this bipartisan legislation and for standing with the 85% of Montanans who support this critical program.
